It was great to share with many schools and businesses across New Zealand Pink Shirt day last Friday. What an amazing array of different pinks and costumes showing our determination to be a part of the BullyfreeNZ initiative. We raised $507.50.
If you didn’t get a chance to view the Oat the Goat video, here goes the link again. This is a great resource that helps children learn the power of kindness … http://www.oatthegoat.co.nz/
Thank you to everyone who participated in our School Transport Survey. We managed to receive a 77% response rate from our families. That’s a great participation result and we’re certainly looking forward to reading all the responses when they come back from the CDHB analysts team.
At assembly this week we’ll name the spot prize winner. The prize is a SCOOTER and helmet, which has kindly been donated by the good people at Bike Barn.
The big news this week has been the arrival of our new building. How exciting! It was great to see the building arrive on the back of two trucks and then be lifted by crane into place. There are a few things that have to happen before we get to move in though; the building needs to be connected to electricity etc, and we need to build a ramp, but fingers crossed we’ll be using it before we know it!
Congratulations to everyone who received Principal Awards at last week’s assembly.
