Welcome back everyone. It’s great to see everyone again all fit and healthy after a restful holiday break.

No doubt Term 3 will be full of many awesome opportunities and challenges!

During the holidays Room 17 finally moved out of the staffroom and into the new building. Our cover stars this week are the students of Room 17 outside the new room. Exciting times! I’d like to make special mention of Inge Dirkzwager, Allan McCambridge and Amanda Everett who all put so much time into getting the room finally ready. Well done all!

Parent Teacher Interviews are scheduled for Week 3 of the term. These will be held for our Yr 3-8 families on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th August. The website for picking your interview times will be available early next week. We’ll put the link up on our Facebook page and remind you again in the newsletter next week.

The school will be closed early on the Tuesday afternoon from 2:00pm. We will provide supervision for those families who would prefer their children to remain at school until 3:00pm. Please let the office know if you want to use this facility.

Footpath Frenzy begins this week! For anyone who would like to walk to school with me, I’ll be waiting on the corner of Pages Road and Hunter Hills Drive at 8:30am on Friday. Fingers crossed that it’s not quite as cold as it was this morning!! J

Our first Board of Trustees meeting of the term will be held on Monday night (30th July) from 7:00pm in the staffroom. As usual you are all welcome to attend.

Congratulations to those who received Principal Awards at the last assembly of Term 2.
