Our cover stars this week are Millie and Lilly who have been looking after our new Kea Crossing on Spring Road this week. It’s wonderful to get this finally up and running. However there are still plenty of people who choose just to cross randomly on Spring Road at any place. The new crossing has been put in specially by the Timaru District Council to provide our students with a safe crossing spot. The Kea Crossing should now be everyone’s default crossing point on Spring Road – please use it, it’s certainly the safest place to cross.

Congratulations and thanks to all those businesses who have helped out with our Yr 7-8 Work Experience programme over the last couple of weeks or so. It’s been wonderful to hear the great stories coming back from our Yr 7-8s from their experiences. We certainly can’t run a programme like this without the support of businesses and work places, so thank you for giving your time, it’s greatly appreciated.

Our school disco is all set to run this Friday night! Woohoo! It’s going to be a blast! The theme is Neon Lights and tickets can be purchased at the office and on the night.

Our Athletics sports are all ready to go next Tuesday, 19th November (pp Thursday). Hopefully we’ll get great weather! Please keep an eye out for more information about the event later in this newsletter.

Urgent help is required. Please fill in the reply slip below and return it to school tomorrow.

Congratulations to our Aoraki Caroline Bay Relay team who competed down at the Soundshell yesterday. We had over twenty runners involved in the relay event.

Congratulations to everyone who received a Principal Award during our assembly last week!
