BOOK WEEK – fun and learning

This week has been our school Book Week. We have been doing a number of different things such as DEAR – across the school ͚drop everything and read – library activities, book cover designs and lunch time book quizzes. On Friday we have a book character dress up day when the students can dress up as a favourite book character. This is a celebration of books and their characters, so do your best to make sure that the character that is chosen is from a book. There will be some competitions within classes for the best costume etc and the winners will parade at our assembly. This will be lots of fun – so start planning.
